Recurring billing for broadband is at the core of what the Swift Fox platform does, it was built from the ground up for WISPs. Automatically charging your customers each month for their Internet service is made easy by linking packages to actual network devices. Disconnect a client? Billing automatically stops for that package. No more worrying about keeping track of who to charge, when.

Swift Fox automatically bills customer credit cards through your preferred merchant account provider, as well as automatically generated monthly direct-debit files for your bank (also known as EFT, PAD, or ACH).

Flexible reporting system makes sure you always have the report you need

Whether you’re a small WISP that wants to make sure there’s enough money coming in next month, or a large WISP looking to prepare audited financials for the board of directors – Swift Fox can provide the financial reporting you need. All billing functions in Swift Fox obey GAAP and IFRS standards for auditing and reporting transactions. Functions such as deferred revenue reports, pro-rated outstanding service balances, and deferring an installation fee across a contract term – are all built in.

A built-in deposit reconciliation system helps you keep track of which payments went into which account. Simply click on all the transactions to deposit, and a deposit slip will be automatically generated. The deposit amounts can then be easily reconciled with your bank account to make sure everything is in order. A standard A/R aging report is also available for collections, which can be exported to spreadsheet if it is to be used in conjunction with other accounting software.

Automated functions save you time

Swift Fox supports automatically disconnecting clients for non-payment, and presenting them with a “captive portal” page in their web browser that allows them to pay online. This reduces collection calls, and helps ensure a greater payment rate for service. Swift Fox can also be configured to automatically charge clients an overage fee for bandwidth they use in excess of their monthly plan. Warnings will be sent out by the system beforehand, and a WISP can decide whether to charge for extra bandwidth or just slow the connection down until the end of the month.

Custom statements and invoices with your branding

Send your customers statements with your company’s branding and layout included. Each month you can include a message to customers on the statement to keep your clients up to speed on new tower sites, ongoing infrastructure upgrades, and additions to your team. Statements can be automatically emailed or faxed, and can be batch-printed to fit a standard windowed envelope for mailing.

Easily Track Your Inventory

With a USB barcode scanner, or simply entering by hand – you can receive and keep track of inventory of all types, even non-network devices such as digital cable terminals, or external antennas. Inventory can be viewed by shipment, and outgoing shipments for RMA can be assembled and tracked entirely within the Swift Fox platform.
