Faster netmap, vintage NanoStations, next-gen pingbox

The network map switched to the new metrics backend for faster loads, vintage pre-M NanoStations joined the supported list, and groundwork landed for the next generation of pingbox.

Netmap quality data moved to the new backend Improved

Map quality colouring now comes from the new time-series backend with Redis-cached state — faster map loads and live quality updates, and the first big step in retiring the legacy pinger.

Pre-M NanoStation support New

Based on a request from an ISP in Africa monitoring donated equipment, pre-M Ubiquiti NanoStations are now recognized and monitored like everything else. When we say we'll add support for any WISP gear, we mean it!

CPE issue reporting New

Customer radios now raise issues in the alerting system, not just infrastructure devices.

Next-generation pingbox groundwork Improved

The new pingbox generation syncs its ping targets exclusively over MQTT — quicker to pick up changes and simpler to run behind strict firewalls.
